It's not a promotional livery for Go North East's Key Card - I'm led to believe that this livery (or similar) will be rolled out fleet-wide on vehicles in red fleet livery to complete the corporate livery.
Not sure what the arrangements are with the branding company, but I'd imagine they'd target each depot one at a time and whiz through as many as possible..?
