Could they honestly not have sent a Pulsar from Darlington to Jesmond or is it a case of God forbid a single decker to run a double decker route at Jesmond?
Don't forget the hot bus for the day is/was 4649 while 1406 is on 2s, there's got to be more than one normal liveried pulsar on a MAX route
