This was followed by a quick visit to Percy Main then up to Whitley Bay for the Metro Replacements, was talking to another enthusiast that I hadn't seen for a long while. Left Whitley Bay 11:10 and headed to Walker fo the Asda Bus, then headed up to Hexham via a petrol station. About 2 hours was spent in Hexham before me and my friend headed to Newborough, Gisland, Haltwhistle and then Alston.
Sounds like a good day, Was your friend the one driving the B10? I heard him talking about 9104 while I got a photograph of the B10 ( too tired to look at the photos and check the fleetnumber ) funnily enough I ended up around Walker/Byker for the Asda Shuttle too. I mostly followed your path the whole morning.
