An e-mail received from a guest viewer of the forum has noted the following:

"E400 MMCs 10457-62 are still shown as expected at Manchester, Hyde Road. Although only made known more widely in the last 10 days or so, it is thought that a decision has been made to divert these buses to Plymouth. Apparently, this is due to the lease expiry date of the Park n Ride buses inherited from First. Hyde Road are still expecting 10463-87, with deliveries hopefully starting in mid January, and six replacements (from 10488-503 batch) should also come to Hyde Road at a later date."

An intro and apology! I'm afraid I'm responsible for this - together with the message spending 3 months in the the ether. I posted this to the Administrators, and Kuyoyo, knowing that the latter in particular must have close contacts to chase up its authenticity. However, this was in the New Year, before it was suggested that 10504-9 would be added to the 2015/6 order to replace 10457-62 at Hyde Road. Then, this latter report also proved false, and Hyde Road have had to make do with 25 buses........for now.

As for me; I don't work for Stagecoach, but do have a few contacts at Stagecoach Manchester (and one at First). In the past, I have worked for the original GMPTE, then GM Buses and briefly for First Manchester, but am now employed "one step to the side" of the Bus Operating industry. My postings will either be straight facts, based on personal observations or information already "in the public domain". Otherwise, they will be clarifications or points for discussion, to give people an idea of what might be happening and when. Hopefully, this will be of particular use to anyone planning a trip to Gtr. Manchester
