What buses does the 1,1A,N1 and 28 and 29 currently use?
(06 Apr 2016, 3:49 pm)Dan wrote I believe some of Brighton & Hove's new double-decks are due to be delivered next month.
Service 1 is allocated Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TLs - most of them are 12-plates. Services 28/29 are allocated East Lancs OmniDekka bodied Scania N270UDs - these are 57-plates.
I understand 03 and 04 plate East Lancs OmniDekka bodied Scania N94UDs are expected to be cascaded as a result. Would expect these to be the examples route-branded for services 48 (628-633) and 50 (601-03/05) as well as the other examples in the YN04 Gxx series batch.
The complete list of fleet numbers and registrations for the new StreetDecks to be allocated to service 1 are as follows:
801 - SK16 GWC
802 - SK16 GWD
803 - SK16 GWE
804 - SK16 GWF
805 - SK16 GWG
806 - SK16 GWJ
807 - SK16 GWL
808 - SK16 GWM
809 - SK16 GWN
810 - SK16 GWO
811 - SK16 GWP
812 - SK16 GWU
813 - SK16 GWV
814 - SK16 GWW
815 - SK16 GWX
816 - SK16 GWY
817 - SK16 GWZ
818 - SK16 GXA
819 - SK16 GXB
820 - SK16 GXC
821 - SK16 GXD
822 - SK16 GXE
823 - SK16 GXF
824 - SK16 GXG
The first two Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 bodied Volvo B9TLs previously allocated to service 1 have now been repainted for Regency services 28/29 and fitted with free Wi-Fi. Photo on Twitter below:

Just six "Regency" branded Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekkas remain: 679 - 684. These should be cascaded to other routes, to replace older examples of the same vehicle type.
In other news, Scania N270UD/Scania Omnicity 715 (YP09 HWB) has now been sold to sister Go-Ahead opco Metrobus.
