My initial information on allocations came from a very reliable source within Stagecoach Manchester, albeit he did not mention which order the buses would be allocated. More recent information which (give or take the odd one or two buses) is supposed to have come from an internal publicaton called "The Loop" which quotes 31 buses for AZ; 9 for HE and finally 13 for ST. Thiere has been absolutely no mention locally about 20 buses being for the 38 (currently run with 17 buses), but if so, it will have the pro-franchise lobby rubbing their hands with glee at such an "own goal".
