There doesn't need to be a replacement for 34401, Its never been used since moving to Shields while 34611 sees nearly daily service on mostly the 17/18s.
Was said by one of the members on here that 34611 will be staying at Shields for the foreseeable future, While 22067 and 22070 will leave, Which 22070 has already done.

The reason 34611 sounds like a old banger car is said a few posts above by MrNut85, It has a split Exhuast Flex Pipe. Which is nothing serious and can be fixed without much hassle.
34611 before it got the split exhuast flex pipe was pretty healthy sounding, And is in pretty good condition. Minus the extensive rattling on the back row of seats.
