Newcastle City Centre seems to be a nightmare at the moment with all the roadworks and demolition works going on and things are probably only going to get worse with Christmas coming, all the Gateshead - Newcastle express services seem to be coming in via the A167(M) and Barras Bridge to reach Eldon Square.
