Consett and Stanley supervisors insist 86 and 14 aren't pulled off taxi boards, and instead take an olympian or call the depot for a new bus, due to the unreliability of these two buses. 16 used to be similar with a faulty ABS and retarder, but since a sustainable repair has been undertaken, it sees service almost every day on a service 15 or northern board on a cold night. When the buses work, they have very few problems, but the frequency of both new and repeating issues makes them very unlikely contenders to be put into public service. You'll only normally see these two on scholars services which themselves are contracted or scholars with a contracted route on the end of the board (V8 to crookgate etc), to keep the milage of the better buses down. Sometimes they are thrown onto the 828/6/X70 for the same reason.
