Has the Coaster route actually suffered? I see buses sat in Gateshead Interchange for prolonged periods far too frequently. Surely if there were problems those buses would not be having any layover?
The ones terminating at Gateshead seem fine, but from experience the Wrekenton runs seem to suffer.
