My point was, been from Durham I don't know about Gateshead and any low bridges etc. so was simply asking if anyone knew why such a bizare decision may have been made. A lot of routes have been upgraded to Deckers from singles Ten, Red Arrows, Fab 56, Cobalt Clipper so why not the 58 when they've had bigger buses- the Bendys - Deckers seem like the logical replacements.
I wasn't being sarcastic, I was simply correcting my previous post. I had thought the low bridges in Heworth would have caused a problem, but as Adam pointed out, he'd seen deckers work that route.
You really need to stop thinking everyone on this board is having a go at you.
