(27 Dec 2017, 2:35 pm)Dan wrote Nine in service now, with 6323 being the latest to enter service today. 6321 was collected by Chester-le-Street from Saltmeadows Road about an hour ago, so should be on the road tomorrow.
The two delivered today (6318/26) should be in service by the end of the week all being well, but they're likely to be the last until around w/c 8th January, even if the other four at Heysham Docks are delivered this week.
6056/61 in service today on the 327. Driver familiarisation still incomplete so won't be used on the Coaster just yet.
6060, as stated, was collected by Percy Main from Saltmeadows Road just before noon (along with 5261 which has just been painted in fleet livery).
6062 and 6063 are the latest Hybrids to be released for repaint. All being well; one branded first thing on Friday morning and collected by Percy Main on the afternoon, with the other being branded on Saturday and collected by Percy Main early next week.
So Chester-le-Street have yet to displace 5 further Hybrids. Imagine a few more will be drip-fed to Saltmeadows Road either tomorrow or Friday.
Deleted my last post as you decided to edit it after i replied!
The 8th January?, its a normal week after the 1st January!
With Cascades from the Coaster imminent, which Scania's will be withdrawn?, as most of the older Scania's have Euro 5 engines?, can Go North East remove them and put them in the younger Scania's?
Edit: I forgot about the Eclipses at Percy Main too, so it looks like it would be 15 for 15 at Percy Main? (all the Scania's and Eclipses withdrawn)
