To some extents, I don't like quiet buses, I can't seem to get away with the stop, start equipment on the recently delivered Arriva Sapphire StreetLite's at Darlington, even after about two months of having them on a regular basis. In terms of noise from passengers, I do like a quiet bus though.
Haven't done many miles on the 21 since the hybrids were cascaded, but I know which vehicles I prefer.
The on/off of the hybrids did my head in. Mid-conversation, engine cuts out, everyone can now suddenly hear.
