Getting the bus only between Newcastle Centre and Byker and walking between home and the City Centre saves the most on bus fares, but means walking much further distances each way.
I am looking at ways of saving money on ever-increasing bus fares (and travel costs in general). Therefore I am thinking from the viewpoint that I might end up working somewhere I can either get the bus to or walk to, but working a full day with all that walking, I need to figure out what is realistically achievable.
Thank you.
