North Shields - no.
Really... We're talking here as if North Shields is a million miles away from Tynemouth. The outlying suburbs I'd agree aren't coastal but the town centre is just a stone's throw away from the likes of Tynemouth which is strongly associated with the coast.
Suppose Stagecoach will have to do away with the 'Seasider' open-top brand, as North Shields Ferry Landing isn't at the seaside, just a river...
