Also, has the X21 that goes via Durham University always shown up as X21E on the app? I've never noticed that before today
There's been some amendments to Go North East's back office data.
So whilst the evening/Sunday X21 has always been classed as 'X21E' to Go North East internally, this has had to be changed in the scheduling system too which means it's now public facing as that route number.

648 - Percy Main to Hownsgill
697 - Deptford to Hownsgill
724, 725 - Crook to Percy Main
Would it not of made more sense to send 724/725 to Hownsgill with 648 staying at Percy Main and 697 going from Deptford to Percy Main.
4949 - Riverside to Peterlee
What services will this be used on while at Peterlee?
4982 - Percy Main to withdrawn
Interesting to see this Withdrawn given it was only repainted back 11 months ago and is probably in better condition than the B7RLE's retained in a reserve capacity.
Of the Blue Arrow OmniCitys, 5266 should be sent from Chester-le-St to Saltmeadows on Monday to get repainted. The others will all remain at Percy Main in Blue Arrow livery until space is available in the paintshop to repaint them. There are no intentions for OmniCitys to join the fleet at Deptford.
There is still a few WheyAye50 OmniCities which need repainting at Washington also, looks like the painters are going to be quite busy at Saltmeadows with the EYMS repaints on top of that.
Just out of curiosity will Ex London Metrobus Omnicity (YN08 OAY) which is at Percy Main for parts salvage be moving over to Chester-Le-Street to keep there Omni's going?
Why would it have made more sense to allocate 724 and 725 to Hownsgill? These have non-standard interiors with hard and uncomfortable seats. They're a perfect fit for Nexus contract work - they'll be allocated to the W1/W1A at Percy Main.
4949 will be allocated to the Miscellaneous Works service which Peterlee operates, and also acts as a staff shuttle in between the morning and afternoon peak. In reality it's more common for Deptford to cover the Miscellaneous Works service with whichever Citaro or Streetlite is in for a safety inspection that day, so really 4949's use at Peterlee is limited to being a staff shuttle. There's a greater need for Euro 5 minibuses in the fleet in North Tyneside to convert some boards on service 19 to fuel-efficient Solo.
4979 and 4982 are earmarked for imminent disposal, hence why they were withdrawn first. The buyer for the remaining three won't be collecting them for another week or two yet, which is why these three have remained in service to cover additional PVR next week at Percy Main for the cruise ship shuttles.
Yes, Saltmeadows will be kept very busy over the next few weeks! The remaining ex-East Yorkshire scholars Volvo B7s aren't planned for repaint. 6941 will be the unique one in that respect!
No, from the middle of next month there'll be no room for any additional vehicles at Chester-le-Street. The engine from the Percy Main scrap OmniCity is currently being donated to a Riverside example.

4949 has undergone safety inspection at Deptford today and is now at Peterlee. 718 was the Solo which didn't transfer to Deptford last night but was swapped over with 4949 today.
