Rest of the 35A's are just 35A

In fact if anything, the revenue of services 309 & 310 would improve with the number of buses running through Battle Hill per hour being reduced from 15x to 12x (309 & 310 + ANE 306). Further to passengers choosing the first bus that gets to the stop along the Coast Road, that is still an issue with or without the 57 as the majority of passengers prefer using St Mary's / Haymarket so it's normally a case of either the 306/308 or 309/310. GNE however since the 2016 changes, have been more proactive in terms of the timing of services 309 & 310 in order to gain more passengers along that corridor.
I wouldn't be the first person to suggest curtailing the 57 and having the 310 serve Hadrian Park but looking at the current logistics of things, I wouldn't be surprised to see GNE take the opportunity to 'streamline' a particular corridor whilst reducing the PVR and freeing up resources for elsewhere on the network.
It would be a problem, if they start reducing services in the area though, if it backfired.
