Durham:
Sapphire 6: This service will be introduced to operate Every 30 minutes, this will offer more travel options for passengers between Cockfield, Bishop Auckland & Durham.
Sapphire 7: This service will be introduced to operate Every 30 minutes, this will offer more travel options for passengers between Darlington, Newton Aycliffe, Ferryhill & Durham.
Sapphire 22: Sunday daytime journeys will no longer operate to Easington Collirey, with this section being covered by Sapphire 23. Although will additionaly serve Pennine Drive on Sunday's only.
Sapphire 23: This service will be introduced to operate on Sundays up to every 60 minutes, it will work alongside service 22 & 24 to provide a bus up to every 30 minutes between Peterlee and Sunderland or Hartlepool.
Sapphire 24: This service will be slightly retimed, this will facilitate the introduction of service 23 on Sundays, aswell as ensuring services can combine to provide a bus every 30 minutes.
The inter-working pattern will be similar to the triangle drivers follow on the weekday rota, with drivers doing one of each service.
This charge will see Peterlee receive buses up to every 30 minutes to Sunderland, Hartlepool & Durham.
Service 64: This service will be reduced to operate up to every 60 minutes, with all journeys operating Cross-City to both Sherburn & Arnison Centre. The journeys lost will be replaced by an extended X12.
MAX X12: Sunday journeys will extend to Arnison Centre, this will allow passengers from Teeside & County Durham areas to access the University Hospital without changing buses, aswell open up new employment & leisure opportunities at Arnison Centre. This service will retain it's up to every 60 minutes frequency, although will combine with service 64 to continue the up to every 30 minutes frequency between Arnison Centre and Durham.
Darlington:
Service X21: This service will no longer serve Pennine Drive in Peterlee, with this section being replaced by Sapphire 22, this will help ensure journey times are decreased for long distance travellers.
MAX X66: This service will no longer serve Hartburn, although will remain operating up to every 60 minutes.
MAX X67: This service will be introduced to operate on Sunday's up to every 60 minutes, combining with service X66 to offer buses up to every 30 minutes between Darlington, Stockton & Middlesbrough.
Service X75: This service will be introduced to operate up to 60 minutes, this will offer additional buses between Darlington and Barnard Castle.
</p><p><br></p><p>People in Newton Hall wouldn't be pleased about going down to one bus an hour. That's where most of the 64's passengers on that side of Durham come from. </p>
