Can't say I blame them really, lately I'm so sick of hearing the phrase "the [insert time] Northern/TransPennine Express service to [wherever] has been cancelled, this is due to a shortage of train crew" almost every time I get a train lately, the urge not to complain to them about it is becoming more and more difficult to resist.
