I'm going to miss X88 from washy to galls. Convenient however passenger numbers were very low. Can understand why it's been withdrawn. If passengers travelling to QE from sections along old 25 route were as low, I can understand them removing the link - no doubt they have the data to back this up.

But I think X88 passengers will loose out more. 20mins journey now doubled. Passengers changing at wrekenton for QE - max of 10mins during the day

Personally I can't see splitting a journey and waiting for another bus to be quicker...

In my opinion, as someone who uses this service for that particular journey on a frequent basis, it's most certainly an inconvenience.

The vast majority of passengers using the link to the QE from my aforementioned areas will be elderly, travelling to appointments, and changing buses throws a spanner in the works for their previously quick and simple journey, regardless of how easy it may seem for us spring chickens.
