Here’s one from left field. 

An all night service covering all the Metro Stations.  Ran by Nexus, cheaper than running trains and allowing them to do the necessary overnight maintenance they do.   Could be an hourly service. 

Would maybe encourage the other operators to run all night services from the various interchanges to areas not covered by the metro
