In summer I was doing 100+ miles a day on various buses for £3.65. Think I worked one out as being just under 150 miles, again for the same price.
Granted I ain't the average customer and nobody in the right mind would travel that much when purchasing that £3.65 ticket, but it'd be difficult to achieve such a great value ticket elsewhere.
The Get Around day tickets are cracking value from Go North East. As are the daily day rover tickets for young people. The only gripes I have about them is charging kids more in Durham when they need to get to and from school, then dropping the price outside those times. Just doesn't seem right to me.
The adult fares somewhat irritate me, but that's mainly because I don't think they make sense.
