I switched back to O2 briefly after I had issues with giffgaff, hoping they would give me a better deal on a contract for being an existing customer (always kept my SIM, don't think I was on giffgaff for that long)... Nope. They weren't competitive with EE's deals at all, so I left 'em.
I'm on EE, but another family member is on Tesco Mobile, and gets free credit every month.
