Seems sensible to switch more bus routes on this busy corridor to EVs.
It was more a dig at the government about levelling up than the buses tbh. I know loads of bids which were to improve town centres including Ashington and Bishop Auckland got rejecting. It's a bit of a farce.
Mind that said, I'm surprised routes like 6 never get a look at. The South West of Co. Durham is almost forgotten about when it comes to government funding similar to East Durham arguably the two most deprived areas aswell and would benefit the New Elvet Bridge area which I know is a problem aswell.
