and what's an 'X Lines route'. We know what it means but to the general public it's just another brand with the other 50 brands GNE have. Go to Consett, it might aswell be just the whole network.
They're not express, they're not routes you drive, they're not nicer buses on certain routes. Thankfully other operators who GNE copied saw how pointless it was and scrapped it.
It's one of the worst branding exercises ever going and blatently failed as every single route has had substantial cuts or is now funded by the tax payer and replaced brands with recognition ie Red Kite and Red Arrows, in particular.
The most ironic part of it, the most express route in the network (X66) isn't part of it.
