Perhaps being optimistic but I'm wondering if the 23 is being curtailed to Peterlee and the 22B being ditched in favour of a half hourly 22 Durham to Sunderland. May also explain GNE's 201 becoming the 201 and 202 with the 202 replacing the 22B on Acre Rigg Road.
