Yeah definitely, seems like the buses are schools only at that time checking the timetable. Running every 20 minute or so, it's a bit of a bizarre route and it feels like the 49 is just running between two school buses rather than doing nothing at all.

Note there's no bus from Newcastle / Gosforth between 2pm and 5pm.

You'd think it would be better to work with Nexus and just extend the X46 tbh.
