You’d have the challenge of a very tight turn out of Haymarket and then left onto Percy street
I’d relieve capacity by having high frequency services do a loop and stop using the bus station, it works in most major cities. Obviously you’d need improved infrastructure like bus lanes, better stop provision etc but the cost of that vs a bus station would be minimal.
