Almost ironic that the ironing board seats in modern trains are as good as Streetlite's so the trend has kept up.
The Optare Delta / Scania N113's are more like the Class 156 imo. The last of the old, let's say but much better than the crap that preceded them.
I'd say the Volvo Olympian at the time was way better than the Scania N113. Always a smooth ride on them with the humbling tune of the ZF / Volvo D10 combo! Although the Cummins L10/ZF combo in the Arriva Northumbria ex London & Country and M3** FTY batch was quite tuneful too!
