The B10s are permanent on the 71 but I think with all of the kerfuffle with the transferring and withdrawals that more Tridents, Presidents a bit of 8231 and 3983 are appearing on it. 4926, 4927, 4928, 4929 and 4930 are meant to be on the X25, and so will 4931 when it gets repaired, and thats due to low passenger numbers and the fact that those Lolynes could be used elsewhere.
Lolynes are still used on certain schoolday journeys as they interwork with scholars, but I agree, the passengers numbers are low off-peak.
I think all of the B10BLE's from the ''Wear Tees Express'' will be going to Chester, replacing 4837, 4838, 4839 and 4844 respectively. One of these should replace 8231, and will remain in service temporarily until 4931 is repaired. as 8231 is certainly on it's last legs.
