That plan changed when the order for Darlington was diverted to Durham,. The original plan was for 1424-8 to be used to upgrade the 75/75 when replaced by newer vehicles on the 1/5, however since that order is now Durham bound the 75/76 will be getting whatever can be sourced for it.
