I've often wondered that but presume it would require a registration with the traffic commissioner to operate on a Sunday... though a pretty weak reason as they register plenty of other one offs for other stuff.

Even more bizarre though is that they keep the usual tiny vehicles on the 18/19 on a Saturday, despite knowing fine well that they will be packed. Nothing would be stopping them, for example, borrowing deckers or even using bigger single decks/duplicates. I've got photos somewhere from a few years ago of high floor Darts crammed full on the 18/19 on Sea Road on airshow weekend!
