The hourly fast rail replacement bus takes 65 minutes which isn't too bad via Metrocentre and Prudhoe Station. But yes, the X85 is faster and cheaper. Speaking about X85 I cannot understand why it is the slower X84 which runs from Eldon Square just in front of Arriva/Stagecoach and not the X85. Daft timetabling.
