Ended up taking a taxi home this afternoon after deciding to leave the car at home and neither the 28 or 28A turning up.
Driver of the 15.10 21 came up with a great line (he used to drive them so knows me well from when I used them daily)
'Unfortunately the 28 and 28A both stopped too long at Beamish Museum and have now been taken in as exhibits'
