Three of the four Plaxton Presidents are allocated to Deptford's short 9 services (Sunderland - Jarrow), while the other one remains as a spare. The Vykings are used on scholars services and any peak time services that the scholars interwork with (ie 265 Durham - Seaham, X35 shorts).
