According to the website, approx 1600 members of staff are GNE drivers.
They have said that this recruitment drive is to get 300 drivers on board.
That is a canny percentage of staff to be added to the work force - or to be taken on, to replace those on the verge of retirement, not forgetting the shadow of QCS looming in the background.
The thought just came to me earlier on and wondered if there had been an official line given.
