(29 Mar 2015, 5:23 pm)Dan wrote To provide a greater capacity on the Park & Ride. There are now two services - the Solo(s) operating the same route as last year and the Volvo B7 running direct from the P&R site to the train station.
Last year, the Solos struggled to cope however the route of the 171 wasn't suitable to anything larger hence when the B7TLs and Temsas were used to run duplicates they operated a different route.
This year, there are two routes:
The P1 is more-or-less the 171 route from the Park & Ride Site to the Bus Station via the West Cliff hotel area but returns to the Park & Ride Site direct. 2828 will be working this service solo (pun intended) until the peak season when 2827 will join it.
The P2 is an express service between the site and the Bus Station in both directions. 7489 will be the allocation for this.
