At one point it was getting to the stage where I was only riding Pulsars where there was nothing wrong with them but there was little variety so it became rather boring, when I used to get the 24 to/from Sunderland I always hoped that an Omnicity would turn up just as it was something different.
Looking forward to the 7 getting Enviro 400's to work alongside the Pulsars as one day I could get an E400, then get a Pulsar another day which should make things more interesting.
As much as I hate to say it, from an enthusiast point of view, this is a drawback of "Sapphire" services, I appreciate that the 7 will become split, but you'll have a fair idea everyday of what you'll get. I remember the guessing in the morning of what I'd get, Olympian, Scania/East Lancs Single decker, B10BLE, Enviro, Lowlander, ALX400! It was great, but then again so were most of the buses
