Maybe I'm taking far too much of a simplistic view, but id expect a bus with 'Coast' on the side to go somewhat near a coastline? Nearest would be Seaburn, which is at least a good 20 minute walk, unless the route is going to change?
But the route follows the C2C cycle path...nobody has complained about the Blaydon Racers not going along Scotswood Road anymore have they? Yes it goes to Blaydon but thats it...
