Without going through all of the posts made by our Go North East representatives, I'm fairly positive it has been confirmed. Original speculation between members led to the confirmation, after one member suggested that the upgrade wouldn't occur so quickly because the brand looked fairly expensive to create. Another member then confirmed that the gold "X" is only a vinyl, so isn't as expensive as one may have thought without that knowledge.
I'm sure it was confirmed that 4956-60 were for "The Waggonway", 4961-64 were for "Wear Tees Xpress", while 4965-66 were to be put into the generic "Northern" livery.
