Bit of a late update, but I can vouch for the fact that the three X1's at Washington together heading to Easington Lane was entirely down to two horse riders in Springwell that were unable to control their animals leading to stand still traffic while they put on a show on trying to calm them down.
Just goes to prove how quickly things can go wrong through no fault of an operator.
