Don't think it was the 2, it was definitely a prestige though, heading through Bedlington. Also, it looks like (at least at 8) that the 2 and X22 were being diverted through Bedlington Station, then perhaps along Barrington road to Guide Post?

1206 was out on DT runs, so 4051 might have been doing Advanced Training, possibly, I'll check with the supervisor at Ashington tomorrow.

If it helps, I saw it entering Red Lion roundabout from the hill, as the 2 does, hence why I assumed it was a 2, however I didn't see where it went after that, as the staircase on my bus blocked it out.

It was around 8.00 if that helps, and it could havr been a 57, as I understand that some of the services that go down that road to Guide Post were on diversion a different way this morning.

Yes, 4807 was on the 1/5 (even though it is blinded up for the 5A!)

I'll pass it on, 4051 has been playing "musical spaces" in Ashington depot recently, so it's been doing something...

You don't have to be in Haymarket for long to spot the odd workings...

2837 on 55
1505 on X10
7810 on X13
Unidentified MAX on X4

Same every day more or less.... 555 doesn't run on a Saturday though so I'd argue they can use 2837 as a Solo (it was on 55 last week too)

As a last resort, maybe. What's the point in putting a vehicle out in service which isn't branded for the service it is allocated to? If there was no corporate liveried vehicles available (I'm not sure if the 55 needs a minibus or not), then 2837 should be allocated. Seems to be treated "as a Solo" every single day of the week, regardless of whether the Quorum Shuttle is operational or not...

Not a rare working as such - but a very rare sight. Stockton's 'Sapphire' Streetlite 1551 became the first of the batch to be formerly sighted in Stockton High Street itself (1557 appeared in the Town Centre 4 weeks ago but only came as far as the DWP Office Stop on Bridge Road) this morning. Of course, we're still awaiting the answer to the query raised two weeks ago
