More details should posted in the next few weeks on the GNE site.

(09 Jun 2015, 1:53 pm)Michael wrote Brand new Quaylink Brands: (tab has being updated to, this how i seen the changes/new brands)I don't like the new Quaylink branded buses based on what we can see on the linked page, hopefully I will change my mind when I get to see it on the buses in the flesh.
From 26 July 2015, your Quaylink buses will be getting a brand new look and an improved service.
The current Q1 route from Central Station to Gateshead will merge with our Orbit 51 and 52 routes – and will be renumbered Q1 and Q2.
The current Q2 route from Haymarket Bus Station to St Peter's Basin will merge with our Great Park & Ride X40 route – and will be renumbered Q3.

Quite like the 2 new brands
So the Orbit versa's will go in for a repaint to, come out yellow.

(09 Jun 2015, 2:30 pm)Andreos1 wrote As has been pointed out already, I dread to think what the reliability will be like.
The 51/52 struggle without even going over the river - with regular reports of missing services.
I am intrigued to see what passengers will do when heading to Newcastle from Gateshead and vice versa.
Will they use the one bus, or transfer onto a potentially quicker one?
(09 Jun 2015, 2:34 pm)Michael wrote Ye, hopefully they hoy an extra bus on the route
(09 Jun 2015, 2:58 pm)South Tyne Lad wrote They should add 8328/9 to the brand and that will provide the extra bus for you
one question, Wouldn't all the 10 Reg and the 61 Reg ones from the orbit be too many buses? if so they should transfer some 10 Reg ones to the East Durham or North Tyne Links.....
or has the East Durham been confirmed in getting some brand new solos?
(09 Jun 2015, 4:19 pm)Diamond One wrote The purple one is my favourite it's decent better than the old brand which has been going for 10 years now both by different operators

The old brand is to plain.
