Speaking on Berries, can I just say how much I prefer the 2A over the 2. I don't know what it is, I just much prefer it

This might sound petty but when going between The galleries and Sunderland, I purposely wait for the 8 as I really can't take how it says silk worth.
Like it is highly annoying.  Confused

If you think about how many individual stops they had to record for the NSA system, it's no surprise that there are a few pronunciation errors!

As someone who was brought up to pronounce things 'properly', I personally can't stand the fact the X21 says 'Tudda' instead of 'Tudhoe'. I'm guessing they similarly pronounce Prudhoe 'wrong' on the 10s.

The difference is that people actually say Prudhoe as "prudha"
Is it the same Tudhoe?

And people also say 'Prudhoe'!
It seems to be 50/50 with people I speak to whether they say 'Tudda' or 'Tudhoe'.

To me, if they're using a fairly well spoken voice for the NSA, then they should go with a more 'formal' pronunciation.
It just sounds odd to me having a 'posh' woman saying the more colloquial pronunciation

Enough about NSA's. keep it to the appropriate field.

Put 5304 in Xlines Charcoal Livery. As dedicated spare for X20. Not only would it be cool to see it needs a spare. And it was planned to get repainted so why not.

I'm sure one in fleet livery would suffice.

Well...they did introduce the Charcoal as the dedicated spare colour, so why not.

The charcoal spare decker's work well because there is numerous X Lines routes operated by decker's, the X20 on the other hand is the only singled decked X Lines route so re painting a merc in charcoal as a spare is pointless, might as well just paint a spare in the X20 colours or just use a corporate liveried merc as they do now

They might and I hope they do, but I think getting all the re-brands done first, should be the priority - least then there won't be buses on wrong routes.

What's left to repaint now?

I hope the 60 is getting a better, more complex livery. Coaster livery is very boring. However I wonder if they will hold off on that and just buy new buses for the 60, as it has really been left out with the Ex Saltwell Parks.

'congestion busting'?!
Sounds like there's changes ahead, which will see services go to the places people are travelling to!

It all fairness the tyne tunnel doesn't have great connections especially from places like Doxford park and Silverlink.

Not one of those places highlighted as traffic hot-spots and huge sources of congestion, have a range of services operating to/from different places.
That's why I get all excited about these 'congestion busting' services that MG is on about.

The travel people know they're congestion hot spots (hence the cameras that have been installed for a number of years), so it is really pleasing to hear that GNE have congestion busting routes being launched after all these years of not having congestion busting routes.

There's no consistency in the messaging here. If buses are proving to be congestion busting, why does he spend so much time talking about congestion? Unless the product isn't delivering results.

You can't expect bus lanes to appear and stuff to be done overnight. However I do agree he keeps going on about it, but nothing seems to change.

So how's it congestion busting, if it relies on infrastructure that doesn't exist?

Surely that's like me saying Sunderland are a Premiership team, only they're in League 1.
