Go North East: Rare & Odd Workings 2022

It's the same with 659 at Washington which makes even less sense when they sent their own to Percy Main. #

It depends what goes on the 74 / 684 ultimately though as I could imagine some the Solo's from Hexham going elsewhere as something has to come for the Euro 6 from somewhere.

What Solos are likely to go on the 74/684? Could Graphites, Pinks, Purples etc go to Hexham? Ventures were there for a short time.

Only the Durham Cathedral and Sunderland 700/701 buses are Euro 6 so unsure. No-one really knows what the answer is, I have a feeling some new bread vans might turn up for them, like the ones they had on trial a few month back.

Can't see bread vans for the 684. Solos are good for the 74.

There isn't any Solo's for it though unless they upgrade them to Euro 6, not sure if they even can - probably.

Didn't they use the Mercedes Sprinter before they went to depford and on weekends, well Saturdays they needed a upgrade.

Maybe some of the Euro 6 OmniCities if they've still got 4-5 or so.

What ever they get the Interworking pattern will have to change and have 5 Euro 6.

659 was only brought out from being mothballed for route learning purposes at Washington.

It should now be mothballed again, though I suspect has been clung onto given the high VOR this week resulting in Xlines and Graphites also being used.

Could've been a Northern/Transpennine Rail Replacement given today's Rail Strike Action/Newcastle Station Works starting.

There was a Berries parked up at Washington earlier so it could have been what that replaced.

Is it not double tracking, as the same one appeared to be on the Q3 at the same time?

I think it was to be honest.

Does this mean the mothball period is over
I think it's coming to an end, or someone didn't get the memo. I've seen 5331 today and 5333 yesterday (ok, 5333 was NIS and appeared to be being driven by an engineer but still)

Sonething I thought worth noting; A graphite solo was on the ST loop (thought the screen said 27 at first which would've been interesting although it was in the distance)

What’s the ST loop

Why did they change the name?
