(02 Jul 2014, 3:52 pm)Dan wrote Yup, think it was only the one round trip it missed (irritatingly the one which was scheduled to depart Newcastle at 1105 was operated by the replacement - also the one I'd chosen to photograph 9131 on).
Today is meant to be its last day at Crook.
(02 Jul 2014, 3:53 pm)Michael wrote Do you know which location will it be at next?,will it go back North/South or west?
(02 Jul 2014, 3:54 pm)Dan wrote Rumour has it that it's going back to Lothian Buses, although I heard before it arrived at Go North East that they'd been told it had left for good...
So in short, I don't think anyone knows that one for certain!
An idea would be for it to go East though...

Reports of increased traffic congestion at Fawcett Street in Sunderland. Delays can be expected in the area.
(03 Jul 2014, 11:04 am)marxistafozzski wrote Sunderland is terrible mate, on the 9 earlier and it took over 15 Minutes from Fawcett St to get over the Bridge, the traffic lights at the top of John St. and St Marys Way is the problem
(03 Jul 2014, 11:06 am)Michael wrote Ye was just about to edit my post that the temp traffic lights at St Mary's roundabout is to blame.
What are they doing around there, are they taking the roundabout up? (as i'm sure i read thatt in the plans ages ago)
(03 Jul 2014, 11:08 am)marxistafozzski wrote Did not have a good look but it looks like the roundabout is gone and it is temporary lights on there, which are a pain in the arse...
Should not be long before St. Marys is finished...4 or 5 months, cannot come soon enough ?[SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND TIGHTLY-CLOSED EYES]

Services operating from Sunderland are experiencing delays of up to an hour due to traffic congestion at Fawcett Street.
We would advise that you head to Sunderland Interchange to catch your bus.
(03 Jul 2014, 12:47 pm)AIG20 wrote When I was in the city centre on Tuesday, John Street (Northbound) was gridlocked and the traffic lights changed without any buses moving. It took SNE's service E6 15 minutes to get from Fawcett Street to the Salvation Army bus stop on Roker Avenue.
I'm just glad that I've finished college now as I would have been stood at the bus stop for ages.
The removal of this roundabout will create a pedestrian gateway onto Vaux and new public space at the west end of High Street West. This will be the main link between the existing city centre and Vaux
(03 Jul 2014, 3:22 pm)G-CPTN wrote http://northeastbuses.co.uk/forum/showth...hp?tid=108i thought it was just the roundabout near the crowtree, which has being removed not the one leadig on to the bridge.

Ain't seen it for a while, so not sure either way.
(03 Jul 2014, 6:26 pm)Dan wrote No, it was repainted purple quite some time ago - was needed for the 39's PVR (along with ex-Drifter 8306-09).

Is it one of the plain Versa's?
Probably explains why the red Versa hasn't been spotted!

Seems a shame to put them in the recycling if someone would have a use for them even if only for reference and a bit of nostalgia

Not sure if you could donate them to Queen St if you had to get rid regardless of being able to sell them!
