It seems that the frequency of Sunday daytime 61's is being reduced to half-hourly.
Also online are special timetables for routes serving Stadium of Light on concert nights.

Most show just "Hexham" with the usual rolling via places, whereas some i've seen show it as "Hexham and Metrocentre" i've noticed other variations on other routes also. Whats the reasoning behind this? Another example I often see, of which is probably more obvious Arriva/stagecoach Service 685, often shows either Hexham for Carlisle or Brampton for Carlisle, rather than just Carlisle. I presume on these examples you have to change bus at these points to continue.

And shows 'Peterlee for Sunderland' between Middlesbrough & Peterlee when heading towards Sunderland. It then changes at Peterlee to 'Middlesbrough via Wingate, Norton, Stockton'
Really don't know why as you don't change buses on the X7- it's all one service. It's also confusing for people, especially the elderly who are sometime quite confused by the display. As the 'for Middlesbrough' scrolls people often just see 'Peterlee' which then takes up more time with each passenger asking 'Do you go to such and such'!

If it's not split, the vehicle has to have a tachometer.
I'd assume newer Geminis would have them fitted though, so don't see why GNE's 10 has it in that format.

The 'for' display is merely part of the way the route is set up, as any route that travels over 50km has to be operated by buses fitted with tachographs (for example, the X9/X10 are one such route) and are restricted to European drivers hours (4hr 30mins maximum before a break). However, companies have found a way round this by registring routes in seperate secitions to avoid the need for tachographs (X7, for example, is split at Peterlee). This is shown on the display by showing the split point then the ultimate destination on the lower line.

There's only one of the 4 B10BLEs that has the 'for' scroll, the others show it static. As mentioned about, it's all about the rules for split services, shows the split destination while also showing the through connection.

Only the X9/X10 Geminis have tachographs due to the X9/X10 being the only GNE route that needs them. The 10 doesn't, I believe that screen is just to show it goes to the Metrocentre direct, hence why it has two Newcastle screens as well.
