I remember it being reported somewhere that it indeed did transfer from Cumbria around March?

Assuming this is regarding 22508-15...As soon as anybody knows the dates and is willing to share the information you will find out - it will be posted in this thread. There is no point in (repeatedly) asking for information which is not yet known, or available to be shared on the forum, as it may even discourage people from sharing. Patience is a virtue  Wink

Ye,

On Saturday 23 July & Sunday 24 July 2016, special Service 510 will operate every few minutes during the day, providing a frequent and direct service between Sunderland City Centre (Fawcett Street), Wheatsheaf, Stadium of Light Metro, Seaburn Metro and Sunderland Airshow (Recreation Ground).

Unusually when I went to Farnborough today for the Airshow the shuttle came in the form on S806 BWC (16006) which I believe was on loan to Stagecoach Hampshire, odd to have part of the Stockton trident batch in Hampshire, at least I won't want to go on one now!

They are very powerful buses

17006 has never been a Stockton vehicle. It was a Devon bus from 2003 until the Wigan purchase in late 2012 when it went to Manchester and then returned to Plymouth late last year.

Sorry, I don't think I made it clear enough Blush

I just meant it was part of the original batch and was identical to the likes of 17025-17032 in Stockton

The double deckers dont need replacing as the school contract has come to an end or next week depending on when the school breaks up.
22508-15 are likely to replace 22015-20.
Stockton are to gain a few e400s from Newcastle aswell for peak services.
I think this is how stockton may lay the man alx 300 replacements.
22508 - 22015 withdrawn
22509 - 22016 withdrawn
22510 - 22017 withdrawn
22511 - 22018 withdrawn
22512 - 22019 withdrawn
22513 - 22020 withdrawn .
22514,15 will cascade 22061,2 to newcastle to replace 22012,13.
The other mans will get replaced by e400s and transfered elsewere.

Not sure on 16834-36 but 17025-29,32 can be used on the 510 but i don't think stagecoach would want to allocate the olympians.
Also walkergate always provide a e400 alike 19385 last year and 19430 the year before that.

Does nobody read old posts!?

Stockton are only getting 22508-15 - all the displaced E400s are going to other divisions.

Most depots normally send some buses down, Some more than others.
16834-36 could still be allocated, Since their are still Legal to use in Public service. Then Shields based 16833 ran for the Airshow last year.

Wasn't quite sure where to out this but it involved a stagecoach driver and bus.

I was overtaking a parked bus (gas bus newest in Fleet at Sunderland) and he pulled out causing me to brake heavily and had to take action to avoid been squashed.

When the driver pulled up at the wheatsheaf he apologised to me and said it was due to angle of bus and he didn't see me in his mirrors.

I certainly give him credit for apologising which I have accepted.

As well as cycling I drive a long wheel based van to in my job. I would say in my mirrors and road position after viewing my helmet camera footage I would of seen myself in my blind spot mirror.

Why don't buses have these and tiny mirrors? It's a danger to other road users. I mean the amount of time when driving buses have just pulled out on me within a second of putting there indicator on pulling out on me. Don't mind so much when I have a bit metal to protect me!

17025/32 are departing for Sunderland now for use on the 510.
17026/8/9 are being collected later today.
17027 is not going - it's sat in the dead row.

As where 17026/8/9 in addition to the 500 Group's 99 and H106. Today was originally the last day of decker operation with Stagecoach on Teesside - sounds like there's still chance to photograph the Tridents in service over the six weeks holidays. Indeed, 17032 arrived at 1454 having worked what should have been the last decker-worked turn - the fifth 39 bus.
