Absolutely no idea, but the situation is certainly far from ideal. But I do remember the X7 being this way, and then being allocated the Citaros to sort it out. Here's hoping.

Well for that reason, I'm still hedging my bet on new deckers for Washington either this year or next year.

One question folks, does the Monday to Friday Red Arrows PVR of 15 include separate X1A journeys, NPower work and scholars work on the board but not worked of any main Red Arrows journeys (basically, the extra bus only goes out in the morning and early evening and doesn't serve any 'X1' runs).

If that is the case, then I suspect that unless the East Durham services or Crusader get an upgrade, then I'm putting it on that.

Correct me if i'm wrong, wasn't the idea of new buses for the X1 thrown into touch earlier this year?, unless the pronto is getting new B5s in this " 14 still to be released " batch of new buses, i'm stumped as to what gne have planned for the service.

Ok then:

- If the extra bus on a Monday to Friday is what I think it is, 14 new deckers would then exist for all X1 services with free wi-fi, power sockets, e-leather seating and up to date next stop announcements.

- 6001 to 6007 could go to Crook to upgrade Pronto service X21 alongside 3943 as a spare.

- 6049 (Tacho) and  6050 could go to Riverside and Hexham (6050) as spares for the TEN, Red Kite 47 and TTX (6049). This would then allow 6084 to go silver and give a full 14 vehicle allocation to the TEN with free wi-fi, power sockets, high back seating and next stop announcements.

- 6051 could go to Percy Main as a last resort spare giving the Cobalt Clippers 2 spare vehicles allowing 6116 to go silver.

- 6052 to 6053 could go to CLS, get treatment from GKN and give the Angel a full PVR of 17 modern Gemini 2 vehicles.

- 6054 could go to Deptford as a last resort spare and would swap with 6100 going to Washington (PP/Wi-Fi/NSA/HBS) (the latter acting as a Red Arrows spare or serve peak time runs).

- 6055 could go to CLS as a spare for the Angel alongside 3962.

This would then leave:
3941, 3942, 3963, 3964, 3965.

- 3941 would remain as present providing last resort spare for Riverside. In total, Riverside and Hexham would have 3 spares for a PVR of 18 or, 2 spares for a PVR of 18 if 6049 is required on the TTX.

- 3942 and 3963 - 65 would go to Percy Main and replace the Plaxton President and ELC Lolyne Dennis / Transbus Tridents for DFDS work.

Same as the other night - driver using the wrong destination.

From Silksworth to Sunderland, the destination is set up as "City Centre" so as to avoid this confusion with drivers...

Any ideas on which came out of the Paintshop Yesterday, then which one went in, followed by the one which was then prepped for Repaint Dan, would be a great help so I can amend the captions on my Photos.

As much I love the MPDs, 538 was on the 2/2A earlier on this afternoon and I have to say it is the worst sounding MPD in the Go North East Fleet, was horrendous and was puffing out plooms of smoke as it went up Holmeside, hell I wouldnt be surprised if this was the Vehicle which broke down on Holmeside earlier and caused a diversion to be put into place, feel free to Withdraw this Vehicle from Service and send it to the Scrap Yard where it belongs.
