Any particular reason for the ongoing allocation of a Streetlite to those services at Redcar? Seems strange that it's started all of a sudden, after a long run of not allocating them elsewhere. A trial, perhaps?

Their manager has apparently suggested they don't want to leave one sitting in the yard - hence using it every day. It gets used on one of the extra Sapphire runs which are on 63 or 64 boards. Surprised they put one out today mind given DB delegates were around at Redcar...!

Kind of makes sense in a way, but potentially results in normal specification vehicles being allocated to the "Sapphire" services in the event of a vehicle changeover taking place when 1440 (NK10 CFA) is also allocated elsewhere. The downside to branded spare vehicles, I guess!

MAX E400 on 34, 7518 replaced a broken down bus at Ashington, which in turn 7518 failed in the stand, 7519 is now on the X21/X22.
